After a largely disappointing campaign, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to overhaul his Manchester United squad in the upcoming transfer window, but it was a different story this time last year. Despite spending £19 million and £52 million on Diogo Dalot and Fred respectively, then-manager Jose Mourinho only sold two players for a combined fee of around £20m. Versatile midfielder Daley Blind was sold to Ajax for £14m, whilst academy graduate goalkeeper Sam Johnstone was sold to relegated West Bromwich Albion for an estimated £6.5m.
