Manchester United will battle Liverpool to try and sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson according to reports. The Brazilian has impressed in Serie A this season and has a long list of admirers which now includes United according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport. Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Brazil international in the past few months but United are said to be ready to challenge them as they're wary of Real Madrid's continued interest in United No 1 David de Gea, according to the report. The Brazilian has an £88million release clause and United will face a fight should they want to land him as Roma president James Pallotta has made it quite clear he doesn't want to let him leave. “I am not going to sell him,” he told Sky. Jose Mourinho will give Anthony Martial a central role in Manchester United's attack next season in a bid to keep him at the club according to reports. Since Alexis Sanchez has arrived Martial has fallen down the pecking order and there have been numerous reports he is looking to leave when the transfer window opens. Mourinho is keen the France international stays at the club and will give him a role as a central striker next season if he decides to stay according to The Sun. The 22-year-old has a chance to impress in that role before the end of the season with Romelu Lukaku currently sidelined with an injury. The report also claims Mourinho is concerned Lukaku will be a starter for Belgium in the World Cup so will require an extended rest into the new season so he will be looking for Martial to step up in to that role. Matteo Darmian will complete a move to Juventus after the FA Cup final, according to reports. The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to Italy after struggling for game-time at Manchester United this season and the negotiations are underway according to Tuttosport. The Italian outlet report Juventus are already in talks with Darmian's agent and United over the move which is expected to be completed after the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 19. Darmian has made just eight starts this season and was still overlooked when Antonio Valencia picked up an injury in December. Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta has previously spoken about the right-back. “He is a player of Manchester United and is not our property, but he is a good player who interests us," he told Calciomercato. Manchester United want to sign Chelsea winger Willian to replace Juan Mata, according to reports. Jose Mourinho was linked with the Brazilian star last summer but he decided to stay put at Stamford Bridge.
