More info Lewis Hamilton has received a message of support from Manchester United defender Raphael Varane after three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet used a racist term to describe the Mercedes ace during an interview. Piquet made his comments last November as he spoke about Hamilton’s clash with Max Verstappen at the Silverstone Grand Prix. And they were broadcast by Brazilian media on Monday night. NEYMAR’S private jet has been forced into an emergency landing after leaving Barbados. It was heading back to the 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward’s homeland from Barbados earlier today. Several reports claim that the aircraft, owned and used by the world’s most-expensive footballer, landed safely in the north east of Brazil following the scare. It remains unclear whether Neymar was onboard the flight when the worrying incident occurred. However, he had earlier shared a snap of himself and his sister Rafaella posing on a runway next to a plane. And then he uploaded a photo from inside an aircraft overlooking Miami as they headed back from holiday in the USA. TOTO WOLFF insists Lewis Hamilton will use the race-hate to fuel his bid to win at Silverstone on Sunday. Hamilton has bagged SEVEN of the past eight British Grands Prix but is yet to taste victory this season. However, his Mercedes boss Wolff says triple-world champion Nelson Piquet’s disgusting racial slur will motivate Hamilton to go for more glory on his favourite track. The Austrian, 50, told SunSport: “The more adversity Lewis faced in the past, the better his performances. “It’s something that fuels him — and if we give him a car which is just a few tenths off the leaders, he will win the race. “Him and Silverstone will compensate for a car which is slightly off the pace. JACK DRAPER exited Wimbledon under the Court One roof. But the future of British tennis will be back. Draper thrilled the SW19 fans in a clash of power hitting against 19th seed Alex de Minaur. But despite taking the opener, Draper was worn down by the Aussie - who was being watched by his girlfriend, Britain's Katie Boulter - and succumbed 5-7 7-6 (7-0) 6-2 6-3 in three hours and two minutes. It was a bitter pill for the 20-year-old to swallow after Draper made the perfect start following a  25-minute rain delay. The pair traded blows with a fusillade of heavy artillery before Draper’s power earned its reward in the 11th game, the youngster serving out to take the first and send a wave of noise echoing round the court. WEST HAM’S move for Arnaut Danjuma is on the brink of collapse. And the Hammers are now turning their attention to former loanee and free agent Jesse Lingard as a replacement. Talks were held with Villarreal about a potential £35m move for Dutch winger Danjuma , but agreeing personal terms have proven to be a sticking point. The Spanish side are open to selling to raise funds for improvements to their squad, but West Ham boss David Moyes now has eyes elsewhere after complications with Danjuma. Moyes is a big fan of Lingard – who was released by Manchester United this summer – after his four-month loan spell from January 2021. Scoring nine goals in 16 games, Moyes hopes the 29-year-old’s return to the London Stadium could increase their goal threat up top.
