Epitomising a life of service, the Duke of Edinburgh dutifully served his country for more than 70 years as the Queen's consort on royal tours, visits and functions. As a senior royal his every movement was followed by a photographer's lens which captured thousands of images of His Royal Highness, either meeting people, sharing a joke with his family or taking in the occasion. His death on Friday aged 99, just two months shy of his 100th birthday plunged the nation into mourning ahead of his funeral next weekend in Windsor. Jordan: Prince Hamzah makes first appearance since rift
Jordan's King Abdullah II appeared on Sunday alongside his half-brother, former Crown Prince Hamzah, for the first time since a royal crisis that rocked the kingdom, state television showed. The king, prince and other members of the royal family visited the grave of the late King Talal, their grandfather, the Royal Hashemite Court said on Twitter. All members of the family appeared to recite the Quran. While most were dressed in civilian clothes, the king's son and heir to the throne Prince Hussein wore a military uniform. The Rock for president? Dwayne Johnson says he would run for White House ‘if the people want it’
He's among Hollywood's highest-paid actors and one of the most successful professional wrestlers ever - but it seems Dwayne Johnson isn't resting on his laurels. In a new interview, The Rock has revealed he is potentially interested in a move to the White House. "I would consider a presidential run in the future if that's what the people wanted," the star told USA Today. "Truly I mean that, and I'm not flippant in any way with my answer. "That would be up to the people... So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground." Johnson was asked the question while promoting his new coming-of-age comedy series Young Rock, which sees the star playing himself and campaigning for president in 2032.
