Mum-of-16 shows what ‘just popping to the shops for bread and milk’ looks like for them in a new eye-popping photo

· February 11, 2021 ·

A MUM-of-16 has revealed what “just popping to the shops for bread and milk” looks like in a new jaw-dropping photo. Jeni Bonell and husband Ray, from Queensland in Australia, are proud parents to nine sons and seven daughters, aged between six and 31. Jeni, 51, revealed she often does a whopping supermarket shop at the start of the week, which usually costs AU$450 (£251). Sometimes these supplies only last the super-size family half the week, and Jeni is forced to return to the shops to stock up on essentials like bread and milk. Her latest “quick shop” was six bottles of 3L milk, three loaves of sliced bread and an array of fresh fruits and vegetables. She also bought 2kg carrots, four punnets of strawberries, two punnets of blueberries, 1kg grapes, 400g of cherries, 600g of tomatoes, 4kg potatoes, two salad kits, a punnet of peaches and a bag of apricots. The mini haul cost $132.67 (£73), and Jeni said on Facebook: “When you just need milk, bread and some fruit … [Read more...] about Mum-of-16 shows what ‘just popping to the shops for bread and milk’ looks like for them in a new eye-popping photo
