Seattle Mariners president Kevin Mather RESIGNS after footage shows him mocking foreign players over ‘terrible English’

SEATTLE Mariners President and CEO Kevin Mather resigned on Monday after videos showed him ridiculing his foreign players and staffers’ English skills. Mather, who made the remarks earlier in February in a call with a Rotary Club, resigned and left his post immediately, the Mariners announced in a statement . The resignation came after footage emerged over the weekend of Mather talking about Hisashi Iwakuma , a former Mariners pitcher who recently became part of the coaching staff. “Wonderful human being; his English was terrible,” Mather said of Iwakuma, who is from Japan. Mather also said that the team wanted Iwakuma on the staff as an Asian scout to keep tabs on the Japanese league, but complained about the extra cost he carried when he was a player. Jamie L.H. Goodall, a staff historian at the U.S. Army Center of Military History, published her Washington Post op-ed on Friday ahead of Super Bowl LV, in which the Buccaneers faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs for the NFL championship. CAROL Vorderman has revealed she is in agony after undergoing exhausting workouts which involved walking 22 miles in two days. The 60-year-old Countdown legend looked worn out and was struggling to move following her punishing exercise regimen. The presenter has been putting all her energy into a her new health plan, but called for help in a video today after back-to-back workouts left her on her knees. Taking to her Insta stories she shared a video of herself lying down on her sofa at home after completing an 11 mile walk for the second day running. Speaking to her fans she said: “I am knackered. I’ve done about 11 miles, I did about the same yesterday. “And I’ve got about five minutes before my weights session with Gus [her personal trainer]. “Help!” The star then exclaimed. Carol Vorderman, 60, reveals she feels ‘positively sick’ at the thought of a relationship

CAROL Vorderman, 60, has revealed she feels 'positively sick' at the thought of a relationship. The TV presenter has been single since she split from journalist Des Kelly in 2007, but despite having plenty of male fans and attention, Carol insists she is happy on her own. She told The Telegraph : "The thought of sharing my life with someone again makes me feel positively sick." Carol has been married twice, first to Christopher Mather from 1985 to 1986 and then to second husband Patrick King from 1990 until 2000 and the couple have two children. Tweeting a link to her interview, Carol cheekily referenced her single status again, writing: "Oh..
