· March 8, 2021 ·

AS we're sure all parents will agree, toddlers are energetic, rebellious and - most of all - MESSY. Well if you thought you had it bad with permanent marker scribbles on your furniture, then spare a thought for Shyama Underwood. The mum-of-four, 35, from Northampton, says she hasn’t been able to take her eyes off her youngest son, Jaxon-Carter, three, since he started walking at 10 months old. Since then, the cheeky tot's warpath of destruction has set Shyama back a staggering £6,000. But despite efforts to discipline him, Shyama says telling Jaxon-Carter not to do something makes him want to act out more. She said: "Everyone in the family calls him Wreck-It Ralph because nothing is safe in his path. "From the moment he started walking I’ve not been able to turn my back on … [Read more...] about My son is a real-life Wreck-it Ralph – he’s destroyed 12 TVs and poured SOIL all over my new living room

MUSLIMS across the globe have been taking part in coronavirus safe celebrations for Eid al-Adha. While some countries, like Kosovo and the United Arab Emirates, have closed mosques for Eid prayers, others have chosen to allow celebrations to go ahead. This year's celebrations began yesterday evening and finished on August 3. The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque was hosed down with the threat of coronavirus still a major global concern. The cleaning process followed a big congregation at the Mosque sharing noon-prayers ahead of the holy day. In Indonesia - home to the worlds’ largest population of Muslims - people were allowed to attend Eid prayers in mosques under strict health guidelines. Worshippers were required to bring their own prayer mats and pray several feet apart from one another. They must wear masks and are not allowed to shake hands or hug. Authorities also ordered that the traditional meat for the poor be delivered door-to-door to avoid long lines. … [Read more...] about Eid al-Adha celebrations underway as millions of Muslims around the world take part in Covid-safe festivities
