Fashion giant H&M's new modest collection has caused controversy online after Twitter users branded the line 'judgemental'. The new collection was created to appeal to women across all 69 countries in a bid to be 'diverse and inclusive' and provide 'something for everyone'. However Twitter users have branded the collection 'backwards' and it's creation 'judgemental' towards women who want to wear less-covered up clothing. One Twitter user said: "H & M are bringing out 'modest' fashion. I have mixed feelings. 10 years ago I wanted tops that were affordable and covered my shoulders-but the concept of modesty in dressing is not one I agree with." Another replied and said: "Yes the term 'modest' implies a moral judgement on those who do not wear clothes considered outside this bracket. I wear different length clothes at different times, my morality does not change accordingly." Hartlepool is in line to get a new Lidl store by the end of this year.
