Love Island star Luca Bish has admitted he’s ‘never’ seen Michael Owen on the pitch, despite the former professional footballer announcing his retirement less than a decade ago. Last night, Luca, 23, and his partner Gemma Bish, 19 – who are yet to become official – were named the runners-up in the 2022 series of the ITV2 competition, trailing behind winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti . Peter Andre has blasted Love Island ’s Luca Bish for suggesting Mark Wright is ‘punching’ with his wife Michelle Keegan. The fishmonger, 23, lands back in the UK today after being beaten by Ekin-su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimeti in the Love Island final by a landslide. Luca Bish ’s mum Maria displayed a subtle message to Love Island critics everywhere as the finalists arrived to the UK. After eight weeks of villa life, season eight winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were joined by Indiyah Polack , Dami Hope, Tasha Ghouri, Andrew Le Page, Gemma Owen and Luca as they arrived at Stanstead Airport. Gemma and Luca were both dressed in black as they hopped off the plane, with Luca giving his mum a warm hug. Luca’s mum was seen wearing a jumper with ‘Nick Cave’s mum’ written on the sleeve, alluding to the family’s friendship with the Bad Seeds star. The celebrity couple, who came in second place to Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti on the 2022 series of Love Island, had a fairly up-and-down run during their time in the villa.
