Louise Redknapp has opened up about her ex-husband Jamie Redknapp getting married again and having more children, and the impact it had on their teenage sons. The former Eternal singer split from the former Liverpool footballer in 2017 after 19 years of marriage and two children, sons Charley, 18, and Beau, 13. Following the divorce, Jamie, 49, has since remarried to model Frida Andersson in 2020 and the two went on to welcome a baby boy Raphael in November 2021. While Charley and Beau were no doubt thrilled to welcome a little baby brother, the changes in their father’s life and the divorce naturally made Louise, 47, want to ensure they had a source of stability as young teens. ‘I’ve felt this as a mum and, to say this in the most sort of respectful way, my boys’ lives changed dramatically and then it changed again when obviously Jamie got married and had a family,’ Louise said. Eric Hall, who arrived in the UK aged 10, has convictions for theft, drugs and possession of an offensive weapon. The Home Office denies relatives' claims he was sedated before a flight and says the deportation was lawful. It says the rights of the British public are put before those of dangerous criminals. Although he was born in Jamaica, the 38-year-old moved to the UK with his family in the early 1990s and was granted indefinite leave to remain. Padma Lakshmi has expressed her relief that her ex-husband Sir Salman Rushdie is ‘pulling through’ after he was brutally stabbed at a literary event in New York on Friday. The 75-year-old celebrated author suffered wounds to stab wounds to his neck, stomach, eye, chest and thigh after being knifed as he prepared to give a talk at the Chautauqua Institution, and was airlifted to hospital where he was placed on a ventilator. The ITV daytime show was plunged into chaos as Jenny Kell and her young sons Tom and Finn appeared in full costume to talk about their weekends living a viking lifestyle.
