Mohamed Kamara, 47, threatened his victim after sexually assaulting her in a bid to stop her telling the police. But the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, spoke out to her daughter, who informed Scotland Yard. A registered mental health nurse, Kamara committed the act at a hospital run by Barts Health NHS Trust, where he worked. The trust runs hospitals including Mile End, Newham, Royal London and St Bartholomew’s. He was arrested after an investigation from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command. A teenage boy was rushed to a south London hospital after he was knifed in Eltham. The boy, believed to be aged 15, was found suffering stab injuries on Sunday. Police and London Ambulance Service scrambled to the scene on Mottingham Road, near the junction with Elmstead Lane, shortly after 7pm. Pictures shared online showed a number of police cars and an ambulance blocking the road. The teen has been taken to a south London hospital, Scotland Yard said in a statement. Police said his injuries are not life threatening. There have been no arrests and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
