CORONATION Street's Will Mellor fought back tears as he recalled his dad's death in lockdown - revealing that he "couldn't even say goodbye". The 44-year-old actor opened up about his grief during an appearance on This Morning today, and was visibly overwhelmed with emotion. After landing a new role in the ITV soap, the star reflected on a difficult year - prompting host Phillip Schofield to ask: "I'm so sorry, you lost your dad during lockdown didn't you?" Will replied: "Yeah, it's been horrendous, it has been really tough. "I know a lot of people have been going through it out there and it is hard, it's the toughest thing to lose someone like that. Bonnie Tyler says secret to ageless looks is Botox but she can’t get it in lockdown
80s music icon Bonnie Tyler has told that the secret to her age-defying looks is Botox. The 69-year-old - famed for her youthful appearance as well as her show-stealing voice - revealed she seeks out the treatment twice a year. Only lockdown has made it difficult. "I've been having Botox twice a year, for many years, darling," glamorous Bonnie said. "I haven't had the opportunity since the Christmas before last. But I'm doing all right. I'm quite fit for my age, thank God." She added to The Sun : "And I'm never going to retire! "I look at Tom Jones. He's amazing. His voice is as strong as ever - he's got ten years on me." Girl, 10, tasered by police in London after ‘threatening woman with hammer and garden shears’
A 10-year-old girl was tasered by police in London following reports she was threatening a woman with weapons. The Metropolitan Police has revealed details of the incident in January after a complaint was passed to the police watchdog. The force told Sky News it was called to a property in southwest London after receiving reports that a girl was "threatening a woman with garden shears and a hammer". A Met Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and entered the property. A police Taser was discharged. "The girl was uninjured but taken to hospital as a precaution." Advertisement The Met Police said it carried out a review of the incident and "no misconduct was identified". A formal complaint was received on 27 February and a voluntary referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), a spokesman added.
