Legends football league wardrobe malfunction

NEW Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been urged to reunite with Hakim Ziyech by Holland legend Marco van Basten. Ten Hag worked with the now Chelsea winger at Ajax for just under three years between 2017 and 2020. Ziyech won the league and Dutch Cup during his time at Ajax and also helped the club reach the Champions League semi-final in 2019. The Moroccan then earned a big money move to the Premier League with Chelsea but things haven't gone to plan. Despite picking up a Champions League winners medal in 2021, Ziyech has struggled to nail down a starting spot. He has managed just 14 goals and 10 assists in 81 appearances for the Blues. PEP GUARDIOLA has hit back at former Manchester United stars Patrice Evra and Dimitar Berbatov over their criticism of his team. And he told the ex-Red Devils he did not see much of their character when they lost to his Barcelona side at Wembley in 2011. City came under-fire after their dramatic Champions League exit to Real Madrid earlier this month. Former France international Evra suggested Pep likes to have players who do not have personality . Meanwhile Berbatov claimed Guardiola’s men lacked focus and concentration in the Bernabeu as they allowed a place in the final to slip through their fingers. FORMER Arsenal and Tottenham star Sol Campbell is the favourite to take over as the next Queens Park Rangers manager, reports suggest. According to talkSPORT , Campbell, who used to play with QPR director of football Les Ferdinand at Spurs and England, is set to be interviewed for the vacant position. The legendary defender has a history with the club as he used to coach Rangers' youth teams while working on his badges. The 47-year-old also led a session with the Rs' young players while recording the talkSPORT documentary ‘Being Sol Campbell .’ This comes just two years after his dismissal from Southend after failing to save them from relegation to League Two. Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand described Steve McClaren’s coaching methods as “brave” and “ahead of the curve” amid speculation linking the former England manager with a return to Old Trafford. McClaren could soon become Erik ten Hag’s assistant manager when the former Ajax boss joins the club at the end of the current campaign. The former Newcastle United manager served as Sir Alex Ferguson’s right hand man between 1999 and 2001, playing a huge part in the three Premier League titles, an FA Cup , and a Champions League triumph at Old Trafford. United's captain marvel, Bryan Robson, will manage the Red Devils for the clash. Robson said: "It's always exciting playing against Liverpool; even in legends games that rivalry is still there. THE PREMIER LEAGUE trophy will be present at both the Etihad and Anfield on Sunday - well, sort of. According to the Daily Telegraph , the genuine thing will be at Manchester City while a FAKE will be sent to Liverpool. The decision to send the real trophy to the Etihad is because the Prem leaders only need to beat Aston Villa to secure their fourth title in five years. A replica and blank medals will be at Liverpool , who are behind City by one point and still need to beat Wolves to keep their hopes alive. Premier League chief executive Richard Masters will be in Manchester with the actual trophy whereas interim chairman Peter McCormick will be at the Kop with the duplicate.
