Family caught out by Facebook waterslide pics after fake holiday food poisoning claims
A family of fraudsters who claimed their holiday was ruined by food poisoning have been jailed after Facebook photos revealed them enjoying the waterslide and bar throughout the trip. Christopher Byng, 38, Barbara Byng, 64, Linda Lane, 36, and Anthony Byng, 66, submitted false gastric illness claims against Jet2holidays following an all-inclusive trip to the Canary Islands in November 2016. The four claimed that they and the two children they travelled with suffered a plague of symptoms including stomach cramps, sickness, diarrhoea, headaches and hot and cold sweats, TeessideLive reports. They then issued court proceedings, which were defended by their holiday provider, despite mentioning nothing about falling ill immediately after the trip to Hotel Paradise Lago Taurito in Gran Canaria. Kim Kardashian 's security guard was forced to step in after an intruder tried to break into her home. The 24-year-old man claimed he was married to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star before crashing into her neighbour's gate in a desperate bid to get inside her LA mansion. The ordeal reportedly took place on the evening of February 24, according to TMZ , who cited law enforcement sources. The outlet reports that the man "told law enforcement he was going to see Kim, and at one point even claimed she was his wife". A source close to the reality TV star told E! News that Kim's security was able to stop the man from intruding, noting that, "he was arrested and is currently on a 72-hour psych hold". Mystery surrounds what Peter Sutcliffe has left in his will amid claims he owns two plots of land in Scotland. Leyonhjelm reportedly told her to "f--- off" when Hanson-Young confronted him over the incident. A heated debate on legalizing pepper spray to protect women from sexual assaults led to a grubby dispute that saw Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull demand an apology from Leyonhjelm. "David Leyonhjelm's offensive remarks should have been withdrawn the moment they were uttered," the premier said. "It is not too late for him to withdraw and apologize.
