Delivery services like Uber Eats have made many people's lives a lot easier as they can order food to their front door at the touch of a button. But one mum claims her recent order went one step further - as the delivery driver let himself into her home to drop the items off. The parent, named Aimee, took to TikTok to share her shock after an Uber Eats driver allegedly walked right into her home to deliver her Morrisons order. In a post on the video-sharing platform, under the username @thissinglemamaofficial, Aimee recounted the tale, urging Uber Eats to have a "talk" with some of their employees. Shark attack bloodbath as lifeguard on training exercise ‘bitten in the chest and hand’
A US lifeguard has been rushed to hospital after he was savaged by a shark of the coast of Long Island yesterday (July 3). Zach Gallo, had been doing a training exercise in the sea off Smith Point Beach when he was attacked from below by the predator. Gallo, who required stitches for his wounds, was bit in the chest and the hand by the shark, which then swam away. Police have since shut the beach and are searching for the shark, although it’s thought they will reopen over the July 4 th holidays. Horrific footage has emerged of the moment an MV-22 Osprey helicopter crashed over the side of a US warship, killing three marines. Fourth flood emergency in a year forces 30,000 people to flee homes in Sydney
Tens of thousands of people have fled their homes in Sydney after a month’s worth of rain fell over the weekend. Australia’s biggest city is under its fourth flood emergency in just a year and a half, with dams and river banks overflowing into the streets. Since the heavy rain began on Friday, there have been 116 flood rescues and hundreds of requests made today. Strong winds have also toppled trees, damaged rooves and blocked roads, with locals warned against unneccesary travel. In one incident, a cargo ship with 21 members on board lost power off the coast of Wollongong. The flood risk is worse in areas along the Hawkesbury River, in northwest Sydney, and the Nepean River in the west. EasyJet passengers were left stunned when they realised their plane was being escorted by Spanish fighter jets. Footage shows the F18 warplane flying closely beside the A319 carrying holidaymakers from Gatwick to Menorca. EasyJet has confirmed the unusual incident, saying the plane was intercepted due to ‘precautionary security checks’. Travellers were reportedly held on the runway for four hours after it landed half an hour late on the Spanish Balearic islands. The F18 fighter jet is famous for being flown by Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Rogers was last seen in April before she was found dead in St Francis, Wisconsin on May 5, the Milwaukee Police Department said. A newly-released report from a medical examiner suggests Rogers was last seen alive by her boyfriend on April 27, according to FOX6. Detectives gathered on Friday to review surveillance video from a business near where Rogers was found. Multiple people are in custody as cops continue to investigate, police said on Thursday.
