Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are understandably very excited to meet their first child later this year. Like all expectant parents they are making the preparations for their lives to be turned upside down when Baby Sussex arrives in the spring. One of the biggest jobs is getting the nursery ready, and you won't be surprised to hear the little royal will have a VERY lovely room. Meghan and Harry will be leaving Kensigton Palace and moving into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor ahead of the birth. They've currently overseeing a huge £3 million refurbishment and are expected to move in as soon as possibe. STACEY Solomon has shared a sweet picture of her first Christmas with Joe Swash in their new home. The Loose Woman star beamed as she wrapped presents next to her TV star boyfriend. Stacey, 29, moved in with Joe back in October after almost three years of dating. In the snap, Joe, 36, can be seen inspecting one of the presents while Stacey is busy wrapping. Stacey told her fans: "Happy Christmas’s Eve Eve if you’re wondering what @realjoeswashy is doing... "He’s looking at a wrapped present to try and figure out how to wrap his present (of exactly the same thing). "After 3 presents wrapped by moi he’s still glaring at the wrapped present." 270 new homes could be built on site of Portsmouth prison

City and Country have submitted an application to provide 76 converted dwellings at Grade II-listed Kingston Prison in Milton, and a further 195 new builds around the site in an amended version of proposals that had previously fallen through. Fears over flooding as new homes plan is unveiled

The proposal, which is being managed by planning consultants Deloitte Real Estate, could see 115 homes and a children’s play area built near School Lane.The site is located north of Alconbury and west of the A1. The consultation, which opened last Monday (July 9), saw about 150 people view an exhibition held at Great Stukeley Village Hall. The proposal could see the new homes built on land off Ermine Street. The exhibition provided an opportunity for members of the community to comment on the plans, which have been put forward by developer, Bloor Homes. The development will feature two, three and four-bedroom homes, with Bloor saying some 40 per cent will be affordable. It will also include a range of public open space and landscaping, such as a play space, a community centre that will include retail areas, and a primary school.
