Thomas Tuchel says Barca-bound Andreas Christensen pulled out of “multiple matches”
Thomas Tuchel has fumed at Andreas Christensen for pulling out of the Chelsea squad on the day of the final in the FA Cup . The Danish defender is set to leave the Blues at the end of the season for Barcelona as his contract expires. But Tuchel has still fumed at his player after he said he 'wasn't ready to play' against Liverpool , and he claimed it's not the first time. Tuchel said: "Andreas came the morning of the match to tell me he's not ready. He had his reasons, they stay private and confidential. It was not the first time as you can see. Former Minneapolis officer Thomas Lane pleads guilty to manslaughter in George Floyd’s death
A former Minneapolis police officer has pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced Wednesday. Thomas Lane will receive a three-year sentence, which will be served in a federal institution, according to his attorney. Lane was one of four former Minneapolis police officers involved in the fatal May 2020 arrest that ended in the Floyd's death . Derek Chauvin, the former officer who knelt on Floyd's neck for over nine minutes, was sentenced to 22 and 1/2 years for Floyd's murder. Lane and former officers Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng were found guilty of depriving Floyd of his right to medical care in a federal trial earlier this year. If Lane had been convicted of unintentional murder, he would have faced the state's mandatory minimum sentence of 12 years in prison. According to People magazine, Timberlake appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday where he spoke on how he still manages to stay youthful at 41. Thomas Tuchel has backed Pep Guardiola’s claim that everybody supports Liverpool and insisted that his Chelsea “bad guys” want the FA Cup trophy, not “the sympathy of the country” on Saturday. ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN pulled out of Chelsea’s FA Cup final squad just hours before kick off - leaving team-mates stunned. The defender told boss Thomas Tuchel that he was not ready to play. Christensen had played the whole 90 minutes of the previous match at Leeds. Surprised Tuchel was forced into an emergency reshuffle of his Wembley plans and started rookie Trevoh Chalobah in the Denmark centre back’s absence. Chelsea went on to lose the final 6-5 on penalties to Liverpool after extra time. Chelsea forward Kai Havertz has named the four players that would make his perfect combined footballer. The German international is coming towards the end of his second campaign at Stamford Bridge and already, the former Bayer Leverkusen man has had a memorable time in London. Last year, Havertz scored the all-important goal in Chelsea ’s 1-0 Champions League final win over Manchester City in Porto. He also scored a penalty in extra-time win Chelsea the Club World Cup earlier this season against Palmeiras for the first time in the club’s history. This season, Havertz has netted 13 times in 44 appearances in all competitions for the Blues and is the club’s top scorer in all competitions. The number of households using the streaming service fell by 200,000 in the first three months of the year as it faced stiff competition from rivals.
