As a 41-year-old working side by side with a 22-year-old it is easy to forget she never felt the thrill of renting a VHS on a Friday night – or the frustration of discovering the person beforehand never bothered rewinding the movie. CELEBRITY MasterChef returned to our TV screens tonight as five fresh faces cooked up a storm in the kitchen. Danny Jones got off to a flying start and has impressed the judges, however Nancy Dell’Olio was sent home during the first show. The full line-up has been announced for this series and it is jam packed with some well known faces including Faye Winter and Ryan Thomas . Married at First Sight star Daniel McKee has spoken about the "best decision I ever could have made" one year since finding love on the dating programme. McKee, 28, was part of the popular E4 show's first same-sex couple when he married Matthew Jameson, 40, during the 2021 season. Jameson, who is from Leeds, and McKee did not know anything about each other before the process but we matched together by the experts for the experiment. Despite initial fears about the 12-year age gap and the long distance between their settled homes, the couple blossomed during the show and remain strong to this date. STUFF "Batman" is living in an incubator at Hamilton Zoo but DOC says it will have to be put down if it can't be re-released into the wild. “Batman” survived a cat attack, but its life is hanging by the wings. The 10-gram adult pekapeka (long-tailed New Zealand native bat) was found in Te Awamutu, bloodied after an attack by a feral cat. Batman, whose sex has not yet been determined, was taken to Hamilton Zoo on July 31, a little hypoglycaemic and traumatised. The nocturnal mammal is currently calling a thirty-degree incubator home and has been given the name Batman.
