A US judge in Washington, D.C. granted would-be Ronald Reagan assassin John Hinckley 'unconditional release' in court Monday. Trump reportedly performs mocking impersonations of John McCain and Mitch McConnell
Frustrated with yet another failure to repeal and replace Obamacare, President Donald Trump has taken to doing mocking impersonations of leading Republicans in private, according to a report Wednesday. Trump is said to imitate Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's "slumped shoulders and lethargic body language," according to Axios , and to Trump re-create Senator John McCain's famous thumbs-down gesture that signaled the death of the Republicans' health care overhaul in July. Related: Trump has 'no humanity' for attacking McCain, who is dying, over health care law, critics say Efforts to dismantle Obamacare—President Barack Obama's signature legislative achievement—has dominated the agenda during Trump's first eight months in office. Conservative pastor says Jesus would have “beat the crap” out of John Bolton
A conservative evangelical pastor has lamented not physically assaulting former National Security Adviser John Bolton when he had the chance, while insisting that Jesus Christ would have "beat the crap out of" Bolton for disobeying President Donald Trump. Rodney Howard-Browne, who has previously visited the White House to " lay hands " on Trump, lashed out at Bolton over recent news that the former ambassador's upcoming book may confirm the existence of a quid pro quo between Trump and the Ukraine—the central issue in Trump's impeachment trial. The preacher suggested on Twitter that Bolton was a traitor deserving of physical punishment for not remaining loyal to Trump. "You are a slime ball of the highest order," tweeted Howard-Browne on Wednesday, apparently addressing Bolton. "I should have knocked your sorry butt through the door of the Oval Office into the rose garden when I saw you. I would have gladly been arrested ... what a Benedict Arnold ... I am glad you were fired!!!" … [Read more...] about Conservative pastor says Jesus would have “beat the crap” out of John Bolton
Trump reminded he appointed John Bolton after tweet blasting former national security adviser as unqualified
Twitter users reminded Donald Trump that he had appointed John Bolton after the president tweeted that the former national security adviser was unqualified. "For a guy who couldn't get approved for the Ambassador to the U.N. years ago, couldn't get approved for anything since, 'begged' me for a non Senate approved job, which I gave him despite many saying 'Don't do it, sir,' takes the job, mistakenly says, 'Libyan Model on T.V., and many more mistakes of judgement, gets fired because frankly, if I listened to him, we would be in World War Six by now, and goes out and IMMEDIATELY writes a nasty & untrue book. All Classified National Security. Who would do this?" Bolton's unpublished manuscript of his upcoming book became an important development in Trump's ongoing impeachment trial this week. Watch John Mulaney and Andy Samberg Cover for COVID Repeater Jimmy Kimmel
Jimmy Kimmel got COVID again, big whoop! (No but for real we wish him a speedy recovery, all the best.) Just like last time, Kimmel bumped a guest up to host. Mike Birbiglia took over for a full week of Kimmel earlier this month. And on Wednesday night, Kimmel was replaced by newly forged comedy duo John Mulaney and Andy Samberg. “That’s showbiz, bro,” Mulaney said. “One day you don’t have to do anything. Then, you get a text and you have to do something.” They were an interesting combo, as both men have worked in teams before (Mulaney in Oh Hello and Samberg in The Lonely Island ), have technically worked together (on their upcoming Disney+ exclusive Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers ) but haven’t really done the comedy duo thing in the same room before. The vibe was good. Mulaney joked that Guillermo was his sponsor, and Samberg did his classic “what if two rats were fucking on top of Billy Bob Thonton” impression. You know the one. … [Read more...] about Watch John Mulaney and Andy Samberg Cover for COVID Repeater Jimmy Kimmel

Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron and Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith apologise for Taylor Hawkins comments about his final months
Friends of late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins have said comments they made about the star’s final months were ‘taken out of context’. Hawkins died at the age of 50 in March when the Foo Fighters were on tour in Colombia. His bandmates Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee have since cancelled the remaining tour dates in order to grieve privately out of the spotlight. However, an article was published this week detailing the final months of Hawkins’ life, featuring quotes from friends such as Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron and Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith. It was claimed that Hawkins was tired of touring and that the Foo Fighters may have split after the latest concerts. Cameron – who was a close friend of Hawkins and worked with him on the late musician’s project Nighttime Boogie Association – reportedly told Rolling Stone : ‘He had a heart-to-heart with Dave and, yeah, he told me that he “couldn’t f*****g do it anymore” — … [Read more...] about Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron and Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith apologise for Taylor Hawkins comments about his final months
