A homeless man who was discovered standing on the side of the road with his CV has been inundated with job offers in Silicon Valley, California. David Casarez had been sleeping in his car but after it was repossessed he began sleeping in a park, according to The New York Post. He'd moved to the area to create a startup but ran out of money and became homeless. He took to standing at the side of the road in a suit and tie, with a sign that said "Homeless. Hungry 4 Success. Take A Resume." His CV says he has a degree in management information systems and had worked as a General Motors web developer in Texas, but he was struggling to find work. Jasmine Scofield was driving past when she saw the man's sign, and pulled over to hear his story. She then shared his sign on Twitter, asking if anyone could help him find a job. On BestJobs.eu, one of the main jobs platform, there were a lot of job offering in the last month for those who are looking. Interesting is that the main offerings are in sales, assistant management, accounting, commercial and engineering. More precisely, the jobs as a sales representative are at 52 percent from total, those for assistant manager at 17 percent, those for accountant at 9 percent, those for commercial workers and engineers at 7 percent each, and those for economists at 6 percent. Thousands of skilled foreign workers with job offers in the UK were denied entry due to Theresa May's "arbitrary" visa scheme, it has been revealed. More than 6,000 visa applications from professionals including scientists, IT specialists and doctors were refused over a period of just three months between December and March. The refusals were the result of an annual limit of 20,700 so-called Tier 2 visas introduced in 2011 while Ms May was home secretary.
