Police have arrested a 67-year-old woman after the body of adult man, believed to be her disabled husband, was found in a freezer in her Missouri home. Barbara J. Watters was taken into custody without incident on Thursday, officers in Joplin confirmed Thursday. A neighbor said she kept 'creepy' chainsaws in the garage, but police do not reportedly suspect foul play in the death. Police had issued a warrant for Watters' arrest with bond set at $100,000 and released images of a car similar to her last known vehicle, a white Lincoln with license plate number TC4 S9Z. It is believed Watters kept the body of her husband Paul in the freezer in her bedroom for almost a year after his death, KSN reports. A probable cause affidavit states: 'Paul N Barton died on December 30, 2018 and was being kept by his wife, Barbara Watters, in a freezer in her bedroom at 2602 S.
