Dozens of people were evacuated from their homes after a suspicious package was discovered in a residential street. A large police cordon was enforced on a Hull estate while the object was investigated by explosives experts. Officers warned people in the area to stay 400 metres away from where are it was found. People in the area said they had been told it appears to be a ‘homemade bomb’. Two bomb disposal crews from the Royal Logistic Corps army unit were seen arriving at the scene. After hours of investigations, the object was deemed not to be a threat. Residents claimed they had been told a ‘jerry can’ with a cable running from it had been discovered, the Hull Live reported. Earlier this month, Walt Disney World began reopening, following almost four months of closure due to the pandemic. I flew to Orlando to experience the magic. The week I arrived, Florida had registered the highest single-day case count of any state thus far. In Orlando’s airport, I felt a vague sense that Floridians considered such statistics a source of secret pride, as if they had set a record for fattest alligator or ugliest serial killer or most senior citizens in a golf cart. The airport where I had started my day, in Connecticut, had required masks, and everyone wore them. Here in Florida, some passengers went totally unmasked, but most wore masks in a defiant fashion, either slung under their chin or with their nostrils gaping out over the top, sucking and spewing potentially viral particles with every breath. FARRAH Abraham visited her late baby daddy Derek Underwood's grave with their daughter Sophia for Mother's Day. Derek tragically died in a car accident in 2008 when he was just 18 - two months before Sophia was born. Farrah, her daughter Sophia, 13, and Derek's father Jerry visited Derek's gravestone with flowers, a card and a birthday balloon.
