Last night a packed crowd filled the Corn Exchange in King’s Lynn to be tricked by the man that made Simon Cowell say he now finally believed in magic.Jamie Raven burst onto our screens in 2015 when he came runner up in Britain’s Got Talent, losing out to dog act, Ashley and Pudsey.Audience participation was a huge part throughout, with members able to send in a picture of themselves on Instagram and they could be chosen to take part. STRICTLY star Neil Jones has been seen spending the day with stunning dancer Vanessa Bauer as he emerged for the first time since his wife Katya Jones was caught snogging Seann Walsh. The unassailable Jamie Standen claimed his five win in as many rides when there was a very familiar look to the result of the men's old school class in Lynn Cycling Club's latest Wednesday time trial.Standen defied the nagging northerly wind on the Tottenhill course to romp home 24.03 with the top four being a carbon-copy of last week, while the three podium places being repeated for the third successive week.The winner pulled almost two clear minutes from runner-up Simon Hardy who completed the 10-mile course in 25.51, but who hangs onto a slender lead in the championship as the only man yet to miss a race.Trevor Marshall once again made third place his own with a time of 27.17 while Peter Barber secured his third consecutive fourth place a little further back in 33.45.Neither Dave Bethell nor Tony Pym-Hember raced last week but they both returned and guess what?They repeated their fifth and sixth places of a fortnight ago with 37.51 and 47.49 respectively.In another repeat from the … [Read more...] about Jamie claims fifth win at King’s Lynn time trial
