Quiz show Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? returns to ITV tonight (5 May) with Jeremy Clarkson in the presenter's chair. The former Top Gear host takes over from original presenter Chris Tarrant for seven new episodes to mark twenty years since the series began, however, these episodes - which will air across one week - come with some revamped rules. An additional lifeline - alongside classics 'Ask the Audience,' '50/50' and 'Phone a Friend' - will see contestants able to 'Ask the Host' placing Clarkson himself in the spotlight to help them go home with a hefty cash prize. Jeremy Clarkson has said his Grand Tour co-host Richard Hammond has been left with a bad memory after his car accidents. Hammond, 48, injured his leg last year when the car he was in crashed and burst into flames, just moments after he managed to escape it, while filming in Switzerland. In 2006 he suffered life-threatening head injuries and spent two weeks in a coma following a high-speed crash as he filmed for their previous show, Top Gear. Clarkson told the Sunday Mirror that Hammond forgets things after a few seconds, partly because of the crashes.
