Pictures circulating social media show Daniel Craig driving around Jamaica – where the as-yet unnamed 25th Bond movie is being filmed — behind the wheel of the British off-roader, though it’s not yet known what role the car will play in the latest entry to the spy series. Daniel Craig is set to hang up his James Bond suit after the latest film in the franchise, Bond 25, with the actor revealing plans to leave the role. But Good Morning Britain host Ross King has hinted this might not be the case after all, amid speculation of who will be the new Bond. The cast of the latest film including Craig and co-stars Naomie Harris and new villain Rami Malek, spoke to Ross about what fans can expect. Ross also spoke with producer Barbara Broccoli, and she hinted to him that it might not be the last we see of Daniel’s James 007, if she has her way. Rami Malek will play a villain in the next James Bond film. The Oscar winner and Bohemian Rhapsody star joins Daniel Craig who will reprise the role of 007. Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch, Game Night actor Billy Magnussen, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris and Jeffrey Wright have also been confirmed to appear in Bond 25. The news was announced at an event attended by the cast and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson in Jamaica - a nod to the location used in 1962's Dr No. Malek said: "I'm stuck here in New York in production but I'm very much looking forward to joining the whole cast and crew. "I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride in this, his 25th outing. See you all soon." The much-anticipated title of the next film, currently referred to as Bond 25, was not confirmed. In March 1944 Forest Frederick Edward Yeo-Thomas was parachuted into Nazi controlled France. The son of a Welsh coal merchant, the spy was betrayed and captured by the Gestapo. The daring war hero endured months of imprisonment, suffered torture, interrogation and was locked up in solitude for for four months. After surviving horrific and conditions for more than a year, Yeo-Thomas managed to mount a risky escape and managed to find safety after days on the run. Although it sounds like something from a classic war film, these real-life daring exploits of Thomas earned him the George Cross and is believed to have inspired James Bond. Born in 1902, Yeo-Thomas, also known as 'Tommy', joined the US army and later served with Polish forces against Russia in 1920. James Bond 007 is probably one of the most beloved movie characters of all time. James Bond has had many faces too, initially played by Sean Connery, the spy creation of Ian Flemming has since been portrayed by George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig, who currently holds the position. From the initial escapades in the 1960s to the campier Moore years of the 1970s and 1980s, everyone has their favourite Bond era. The more recent Craig years have see a return to a grittier style similar to the Ian Flemming novels in an attempt to bring the character into the 21st century. As we await the final film from Craig, Bond 25, which is due out in 2020, we've taken a look at how his previous films match up with the franchise as a whole.
