The revamped Leicester Square Lego store will not only be the biggest in the world but the only one with a brick-built Aston Martin DB5. It’s the 90th anniversary of Lego in August and they’re celebrating the milestone in many different ways, including new retro remake sets for the Space and Castle themes and special events at the giant Lego store in Leicester Square . The store is currently undergoing a revamp, to be the biggest in the world, but it will also be reflecting the fact that it’s in London , with unique murals and models that include a celebration of Harry Potter and a double decker bus. The most unique model though will be a recreation of James Bond ’s classic Aston Martin DB5 made up of 347,954 pieces and complete with rotating number plates and working lights and dashboard. Lauren Hemp will feature in Hollyoaks later this week, in a very special scene that was filmed during her visit to the set of the popular serial drama. The Lioness hero, who played a key part in England’s victory last month, will play herself as she coaches Kathleen-Angel’s (Kiara Mellor) football team following her Euros win. Charlie Osborne (Charlie Behan) and Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) will be left starstruck upon meeting the footballing icon and having her teach them some her skills. Lauren’s appearance comes shortly after Hollyoaks recorded an additional scene the day after the Euros final to mark the historic win. The scene in question saw Nadira Valli (Ashling O’Shea) and Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) watching a replay of the end of the match. The Lego Store in Leicester Square is now officially the biggest in the world as it begins a four-day event to celebrate 90 years of Lego. Lego is not only the most popular toy company in the world it’s one of the oldest too, stretching back all the way to August 10, 1932. They haven’t been making plastic construction bricks for all that time but if you want to see what they were up to in the early days then the newly revamped Lego Store in London has its own in-built museum, and a lot else besides. It was already a big store but with a newly enlarged upper storey there’s now space for not only the museum feature but a Personalisation Studio where you can design your own minifigures and create mosaic images of yourself in Lego. The store has also added a bunch of giant-sized new Lego builds, all of which are themed around famous British institutions and characters. Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance is not planning on pressing charges against former President Donald Trump or his business over alleged “hush money” payments or allegedly altering property values, according to a lawyer for the former president Trump attorney Ronald Fischetti told Politico on Monday that he spoke with Vance’s office last week to get an idea of what charges the district attorney was planning on bringing. Vance’s team told Fischetti that the current batch of possible charges related to executives at the Trump Organization allegedly failing to pay taxes on corporate benefits.
