Marcela Isaza The Associated Press Published 7:40 PM EST Nov 29, 2018 LOS ANGELES – Chris Evans suggested his run as Captain America is done. The filmmakers currently controlling the Avengers' fates say he shouldn't shelve the shield just yet. Evans tweeted last month that he had wrapped his shooting on the fourth "Avengers" movie, calling it an "emotional" day and saying, "Playing this role over the last eight years has been an honor." Joseph Russo, who along with brother Anthony wrote and directed this year's "Avengers: Infinity War" and next year's sequel, and directed Evans as Captain America in two previous films, told The Associated Press: "I think it was more emotional for him than us. Only because he's not done yet. And I don't want (to) explain what that means but the audience will soon understand what I'm talking about." Captain America savages Trump in battle of the useful idiots
President Trump’s press conference with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki earlier this week went so poorly that even superheroes and superhero-wannabes went into hysterics over Trump’s alleged betrayal of the US intelligence community. The reason for the media uproar in the wake of the Helsinki summit was Trump’s response to a reporter, in which he stated (or misstated, depending who you listen to) that he believed Putin when the Russian leader said there was no interference in the US presidential election of 2016. On CNN, that silver-spooned, silver-haired Silver Surfer clone, Anderson Cooper immediately responded to Trump’s performance by shrieking: “You have been watching perhaps one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president at a summit in front of a Russian leader certainly that I’ve ever seen.” Former head of the CIA John Brennan, who looks and acts frighteningly similar to Thing from the Fantastic Four, tweeted: … [Read more...] about Captain America savages Trump in battle of the useful idiots
