World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is keen to see his half-brother Tommy take on Jake Paul after the Brit cruised to a knockout victory on Saturday. The women's activist Maria Makrami has been forced into hiding, seeking refuge in a safe house. She is the director of the Afghan Women Network (AWN), a nongovernmental organization that has fought for years to empower women and ensure their equal place in Afghan society. "I know I'm on the death list," she said in an interview with DW. The well-connected activist has received several threatening emails and messages in recent months. "Our situation is frightening. Many women in our networks no longer leave their homes and are completely demoralized. After what happened yesterday in Jalalabad, I’m also completely devastated." On March 2, three women were murdered : Mursal Wahidi, Sadia Sadat and Shahnaz Roafi. They worked as announcers for Enikass, a private television station in the city of Jalalabad. North Korea ‘trying to hide’ nuclear weapons site new satellite images reveal
New satellite images show North Korea is trying to hide an active nuclear weapons site, according to US intelligence. The Hermit Kingdom appears to have taken steps to conceal a storage facility in Yongdoktong by building new structures to obscure underground tunnel entrances, an expert at the Middlebury Institute said . "Images released by Maxar show the pair of tunnel entrances as late as December 2019 and a new building-like structure visible by February 2021," according to professor Jeffrey Lewis. Critics of Joe Biden have used the Maxar footage, captured on February 11, to urge the US President to make clear his plans for dealing with Kim Jong Un going forward.
