TIGER Woods was found unconscious in his SUV after his crash by a local man, new court documents revealed on Friday. A man who lives near the Rolling Hills Estates told law enforcement officials he heard a crash and walked to the accident scene where he saw Woods, according to an affidavit submitted by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Johann Schloegl. The man tried speak with Woods but he would not answer questions and was unresponsive, the affidavit states. Shortly after, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Carlos Gonzalez arrived at the scene and said Woods was conscious and able to answer basic questions. It is the first time since the crash on February 23 that authorities have disclosed that the golf star was unconscious. The last man called by one of three gangsters murdered in the 1995 “Essex Boys” killings was never questioned by police, it has emerged. Retired detective David McKelvey says the suspected villain was linked to a man who has previously been named as the shooter, but was never charged. Instead Jack Whomes and Michael Steele were jailed for life after being convicted of blasting the drug dealers with a shotgun in their Range Rover 26 years ago. But Mr McKelvey, and his team of highly experienced former murder detectives, now claim to have found evidence supporting the account of an East End crook who told police he was the getaway driver for the real killer. The EU hopes to get AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines from the US despite the current limits on their exports, the Financial Times reported on Saturday. AstraZeneca produces its vaccines in its UK and EU plants but also operates production chains in other countries across the world, including the US. The US intends to use domestically-made doses to inoculate US citizens first, in accordance with an executive order signed by former President Donald Trump in December. The EU will now call on Washington to lift the ban, and also ensure the free flow of vaccine ingredients needed to produce the vaccine in Europe. "We trust that we can work together with the US to ensure that vaccines produced or bottled in the US for the fulfilment of vaccine producers' contractual obligations with the EU will be fully honored," the EU Commission told the Financial Times . A butcher jailed for the rape and murder of Libby Squire could have his 27-year minimum jail term sentence increased after his case was referred to the Attorney General. Serial sex offender Pawel Relowicz, 26, was handed a life sentence last month after he was found guilty of the heinous killing. Sheffield Crown Court heard he targeted the 21-year-old university student on January 31, 2019, before driving her to a secluded place, raping her and dumping her body into a river. Libby, a philosophy undergraduate at the University of Hull, was discovered more than six weeks later in the Humber Estuary. Relowicz's sentence, handed down on February 12, could now be increased after his case was referred to the Attorney General. A spokesman said: “We have received a request for the sentence of Pawel Relowicz to be considered under the Unduly Lenient Sentence scheme.
