Furious parents have taken to both Twitter and Mumsnet to decry a science revision textbook which featured an illustration of a pregnant woman with a ‘Brazilian wax’ pubic hair style. The diagram, which appeared in a 2017 GCSE book, has been described as “porn film” pubic hair by users who worried that it would reinforce dangerous gender stereotypes in impressionable children going through puberty. “I would have been okay with no hair at all, as it is largely an internal diagram, showing the baby. But to show hair, but groomed into a tiny strip, sends such a damaging message,” Funkyfunkybeat wrote on Mumsnet, a popular online forum. Publishers Pearson Edexcel claim that the offending image at the heart of the current swarm of scorn was removed in the May 2018 reprint of the GCSE biology textbook. “Clearly, we did not mean to cause offence with the original version and we would be happy to provide the updated version free of charge to any … [Read more...] about Fury as UK school book shows pregnant woman with ‘porn star’ Brazilian pubic hair (PHOTO)

IT'S a daunting sight. A nurse snapping on her gloves, and approaching you down there with what looks like a plastic beak - yes, like a birds. Then comes the cold, it makes you gasp then wince for a second. But it's closely replaced by a strange sensation of the nurse gently cranking the beak open. Yes, having a smear test is a bit uncomfortable. Yes, it's definitely not something any women would choose to do. But you know what, it's a walk in the park - a piece of p*ss - when you compare those few minutes with years of agonising, cancer treatment. Millions of women are failing to go for their smear tests - and rates have dropped to the lowest level in 10 years, since Jade Goody died of cervical cancer. That's millions of women who are putting themselves at risk of cervical cancer. Around 3,200 new cases of the disease are diagnosed every year - that's around nine women a day being handed a potential death sentence. But it doesn't have to be that way. That's why The Sun's Fabulous … [Read more...] about The 4 things I wish every women knew about smear tests and cervical cancer – it could save your life
DON'T have time for a bikini wax? Whatever you do, DON'T reach for your old razor. That's the advice of gynaecologist Dr Jen Gunter, who is warning women against using common products on their vaginas. Dr Gunter is famed for speaking out against the controversial gynaecological advice published by Gwenyth Paltrow's website Goop. But in a recent interview with Today, the San Francisco-based doctor explained how many of us are putting our health at risk by using everyday objects kept in our bathroom cabinets. Never use an old razor She said that she'd recommend us all steering clear of old and rusty razors and tweezers when trying to attempt any kind of pubic hair removal. "There are a lot of genital track injuries from grooming," she explained. She recommended making sure that all razors and tweezers are properly cleaned before any grooming, and that the safest way to remove hair was to use trimmers and then a fresh razor with shaving cream or gel. But how many of us are seriously going … [Read more...] about NEVER reuse a razor blade when shaving down there, says gynaecologist
A company is selling a box of tissues for £62 - but they are much different to the ones you usually buy. Instead of smelling of lavender or being a strange colour, these are pre-used and already 'carry a human sneeze'. Vaev, which creates the bizarre product, asks sick people to sneeze on its tissues before they are packaged and sold. But the Los Angeles-based firm admits to having no doctors on board to justify the concept, claiming it is just 'a wellness brand'. Instead of smelling of lavender or being a strange colour, these are pre-used and already 'carry a human sneeze' The tissues, priced at $79.99 (£62.10), are currently out of stock on Vaev's website. The firm lists them as its only product. One blogger, Jennifer Willey, who was sent a box of the tissues branded the idea 'disgusting' - and slammed the 'ridiculous' price. Founder Oliver Neissen told The Sun: 'The product is a generic tissue that you might find at a store.' RELATED … [Read more...] about Would YOU buy a pre-used tissue for £62?
John Christie, a quietly spoken Yorkshireman, was one of Britain's most prolific serial killers who targeted young women throughout the 1940s and 1950s. Among the many victims of John Christie - known as Reg to his friends - was a young Plymouth girl whose chaotic and troubled life came to a brutal end at his hands. Christie, who had been a Special police constable, killed at least eight women, although it is still believed he may have taken the lives of many more as some the trophies he collected from each killing were never matched to a victim. One such was a clump of pubic hair which did not come from any known victim. According to his own account, he strangled Ruth Fuerst, his first known victim in 1943, during sex at his house, a place that became infamous - 10 Rillington Place in Notting Hill, London. His second victim, Muriel Eady, was lured to his flat where he gassed her, saying he had a special cure for her bronchitis. Not content with just killing her, he went on to rape … [Read more...] about The Plymouth girl murdered by sick necrophile serial killer
