Planners at West Lindsey District Council have approved an application for a family travelling circus to be stationed near Middle Rasen. Plans submitted by Mr Mack will see a change of use of land to permanent family quarters for a circus operating group of travelling showpeople. The site is land at Castle Livestock Farm, in Lincoln Lane, Middle Rasen, and the family will only live there when they are not touring the UK.Documents on WLDC’s website reveal the family had been looking for a site to act as a permanent headquarters for the family. A study by the University of Bath found cannabinoids help control and prevent intestine inflammation in mice. This could explain why some marijuana users have reported beneficial effects from cannabis on conditions such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. The researchers hope their findings will help develop new drugs and treatments for gut disorders, which affect millions of people around the world. AN ingredient in your toothpaste could be ruining your gut health, experts have warned. Triclosan, an antimicrobial found in some household products, including liquid hand soaps and body wash, could alert your gut microbiota, increasing your risk of colonic inflammation and bowel cancer. Short-time exposure to low-dose triclosan caused low-grade colonic inflammation, and sped up the development of colitis and bowel cancer in mice, scientists at the University of Massachusetts Amherst found. Traces of the chemical was found in three quarters of US people, meaning there is an urgent need to test its safety, experts warned.
