THOUSANDS of WOWAir customers have been left stranded after the budget airline announced that it has gone bust. The Iceland based company cancelled all flights earlier this morning leaving passengers in travel chaos and out of pocket. Discussions with Icelandair Group about a possible takeover collapsed earlier this week and WOWAir cancelled 20 flights on Monday before suspending all of them today. Customers are being advised to check alternative available flights with other airlines, who may offer reduced rates in light of the circumstances. I need workers compensation insurance
THOUSANDS of WOWAir customers have been left stranded after the budget airline announced that it has gone bust. The Iceland based company cancelled all flights earlier this morning leaving passengers in travel chaos and out of pocket. Here are your flight rights. What are my rights if my flight is cancelled or delayed? Passengers flying with an EU airline or a non-EU airline flying from a EU airport are protected by the Denied Boarding regulations. A man’s life has been “changed forever” after he became trapped under a half-tonne door while he was at work. The 65-year-old man, who does not want to be named, had secured a specialist marine hatch with a crane while working for Point Engineering in Hull, but moments later it came crashing down, fracturing his pelvic ring and left hip. He needed 10 days in hospital as he underwent surgery and spent nine weeks in a wheelchair after returning home. The former fabricator and engineer, who was 60 at the time, has now agreed to a six-figure settlement from the firm, with a back injury caused by the falling hatch leaving him unable to work again. “Initially, probably because of the shock, I didn’t feel pain, but it was agony when I was in hospital and it finished my working life, which I lived for in many ways”,” he said. “The doctors told me I had been lucky because if it had been a few inches higher, I may have been killed. "It has all had … [Read more...] about Worker suffers horrific injuries after half-tonne door falls from crane

"That's wildly untrue," she told the Salem Statesman Journal, noting that financial losses and credit scars will remain long after paychecks resume. And federal contractors, who have also been affected, will not be compensated. While both President Donald Trump and Democratic leaders expressed support for federal workers, it remains to be seen whether they can … [Read more...] about Despite deal to end government shutdown, federal workers still hurt.
