A man has been arrested and charged after a number of young women’s pictures were taken from social media sites and doctored to be sexually explicit for reposting to adult websites. The 56-year-old Nelson man was detained after an investigation into harmful online activity which targeted predominantly teenage girls from the Marlborough area, said Detective Senior Sergeant Ciaran Sloan. Police became aware of the activity last week and investigators travelled to Nelson, where they found the person said to be responsible. “This type of crime is extremely upsetting for those affected by it, and I am glad we have been able to stop this person from causing more harm,” Sloan said. Lady Gaga has announced her upcoming The Chromatica Ball tour, with six dates announced, including one at London ’s Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Fresh off the back of the release of Stupid Love , Gaga will be performing six shows which will take place in Paris, London, Boston, Toronto, Chicago and East Rutherford. Taking place from 24 July, the limited run of exclusive performances will no doubt sell out in record time as she will be set to perform new music. Tickets will go on sale from Friday, 13 March for the European dates and Canada, and Monday, 16 March for the US leg of the tour. Fans have been sharing the Ariana Grande bunny ears symbol to mark the first anniversary of the Manchester terror attack. On 22 May 2017, a suicide bomber entered Manchester Arena following an Ariana Grande concert, killing 22 and injuring 59 others. At the time, fans started sharing a symbol featuring a black ribbon with Ariana’s trademark bunny ears on top and a pale pink background. Levin-based author Carole Brungar is returning to Vietnam for the fifth time with the release of her new book, The Return. Brungar, who works as a school librarian at Horowhenua College, said her new book tied up all the loose ends and gave a feel-good closure to the series. It was a love story that featured an orphan from the first book who was now 40 years old and was returning to Vietnam to find her family. Despite featuring characters from previous stories, it could be read as a complete stand-alone book.
