0 Have your say It’s going to be a very busy year at Ferry Meadows. Already the Ringer Baits/ Peterborough DAA Summer Series is a sell-out and a reserve list has been formed. There are also going to be some open matches on the venue starting this Sunday and with a good line-up of anglers booked in we should see some big weights taken. Matchman Steve Goodrum made a welcome return to the commercial match fishing scene last year and now he is looking to natural venues too. So on Sunday he decided to fish the Gunwade Lake, a real test given the less than favourable conditions. The body of a missing woman was found in her dad's hot tub three days after she vanished, an inquest heard. Ella-Louise Tunney had accidentally fallen in the tub when she suffered an epileptic fit while preparing the water for an afternoon soak during a hot summer's day. Her body was found by police when they lifted up the lid of the hot tub and saw her bikini-clad body floating in the water. Officers had been called by Ella-Louise's father after he became worried that she had disappeared. He had started searching fields around the family home in Eton Wick, near Windsor, Berkshire, with his pet dog. During the search he and other family members had passed the hot time numerous times but did not think anything was amiss as the lid was closed. It is believed the lid had been blown shut by the wind concealing her body. For those struggling to sleep in the sweltering summer nights, relief could finally be in sight. Wet weather is on the way for much of the country, which MetService says will bring down record-breaking temperatures. Sweltering temperatures are being recorded across the country causing people to have a poor night's sleep. It's hard enough for adults and children to get a decent night's sleep, but experts are warning babies will require "extra" attention over these hot summer nights.
