Adventurer Bear Grylls said the Queen struggled to recognise him as she gave him his OBE at Buckingham Palace today - because of his new moustache. Grylls, 45, said it was 'so cool' to be given his gong by the Queen, which was awarded as part of her birthday honours list for services to young people, the media and charity. After collecting his honour with wife Shara by his side, he said: 'It is such a privilege of a day and also such an honour to have the Queen doing it (the medal presentation). 'I was secretly hoping and thinking it would be so cool if the Queen did it. She is 93 and stood on her feet for hours on end, smiling and chatting away. 'I walked up and she said: 'Bear, I hardly recognise you with that moustache'. The event staged at its offices commemorated 658 Cantor Fitzgerald staff and 61 EuroBrokers employees who died in the attack on the World Trade Centre in New York on September 11, 2001.
