SCARLETT Moffatt has reunited with her ex-boyfriend Scott Dobinson just a day after announcing their split on Instagram. The 30-year-old looked cosy as she laid on the sofa next to Scott, 36, once again taking to social media to share snippets of their evening together. Scarlett posted about their shock split on Instagram late on Sunday night but deleted the post after a few seconds. She told fans that the pair were no longer together, adding: "Nothing major has happened, it's just one of those sad things." However, the pair looked romantic as Scott appeared to rest his hands on Scarlett's feet as she stayed warm under a fluffy grey blanket on Monday night. "I think what people should be is kind," she told her fans, as Scott held up a thumbs-up in support in the background. Katie Price pays tribute to her terminally ill mum Amy and thanks her for ‘thick skin’ on International Women’s Day

· March 8, 2021 ·

KATIE Price has gushed over terminally ill mum Amy Price in a touching International Women's Day message thanking her for "encouraging me to simply be me". The former glamour model turned businesswoman credited her "thick skin" to her parent, 69, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017. The illness causes scarring to the lungs which reduces the sufferer's ability to breathe. There is currently no cure. Amy previously bravely opened up about her diagnosis on Loose Women and said she could only have two or three years to live. Today Katie , 42, a mum of five herself, took to her Instagram page to celebrate her mum's role in her life. She uploaded a shot to her account, showing her wearing a purple top with the words: "Strong women. Know them. Be them. Raise them." Her blonde hair was in a perfectly straight style flowing over her shoulders, while she plumped for thick black eye make-up and a nude gloss. Addressing her mum in the second … [Read more...] about Katie Price pays tribute to her terminally ill mum Amy and thanks her for ‘thick skin’ on International Women’s Day

Everyday sexism is real: I’ve been spat at, followed and assaulted since I was 14 – things need to change

· March 8, 2021 ·

WALKING down the pavement, my heart pounding, I tried to keep my eyes on the floor. A group of men on the opposite side of the street were leering and shouting at me, making hand gestures, exchanging loud comments about my developing breasts. I was 14, and it was one of my earliest experiences of street harassment. It was the first time I’d felt really unsafe because I was a girl, but it wouldn’t be the last. I’d go on to be followed home, chased and spat at. A man would later masturbate near me on the bus while he stared intensely into my horrified eyes, grinning. A senior colleague at my first ever holiday temp job would send me inappropriate emails. Eventually, I’d be sexually assaulted a number of times in my twenties. I’d go on to start a campaign against sexism , only to be deluged with hundreds of rape and death threats. Men would compete to come up with the most disgusting ideas, sending me messages about using pieces of furniture to give me internal … [Read more...] about Everyday sexism is real: I’ve been spat at, followed and assaulted since I was 14 – things need to change

Women’s Bundesliga roundup: Bayer Leverkusen on the march

· January 8, 2021 ·

Bayer Leverkusen finally on the right path The women's Bundesliga table isn't always the most surprising; most of the time, it's the same teams in the title race. But this week, it's a little different, with Bayer Leverkusen sitting fourth with 23 points after 14 games. This weekend, the team secured a dominant and impressive 4-2 victory over Turbine Potsdam, thanks in part to a hat trick from top scorer Milena Nikolic, who now has 10 goals in 13 games. Bayer Leverkusen may be a big name in men's football, but the women's team has often failed to unleash its full potential in the past. Introduced back in 2008 after taking over nearby sports club TuS Köln, Leverkusen's women have only been established in the Bundesliga since 2018, albeit usually in a relegation battle rather than challenging at the top. But they are aiming higher now, with coach Achim Feifel stating recently that their goal is sixth place. So, what's changed? First, most of their key players have remained at … [Read more...] about Women’s Bundesliga roundup: Bayer Leverkusen on the march
