Interviews are already under way for an unusual ‘meet-and-greet’ position – as a zombie scarer at Thorpe Park. After a more conventional face-to-face interview, applicants donned creepy head-to-toe zombie costumes, before undergoing a one-hour session in the make-up chair to complete the look required for a 127ft (38.7 metres) climb onto the platform of one of the rollercoasters. Have you ever wanted to hear a Harry Potter story told by Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead? That might still be a while away, but here's the next best thing. "The Wizarding world is one that I always wanted to get the chance to step into," Lincoln said. "What makes this project so special is not only that it allowed me opportunities to create something my kids love and enjoy, but it also supports great causes, like Comic Relief and … [Read more...] about The Walking Dead season 8 delayed because Rick Grimes is busy playing quidditch?
The mother of a stuntman who died after falling 20ft from a balcony onto a concrete floor while filming zombie drama The Walking Dead is taking legal action. John Bernecker, 33, passed away on 12 July after succumbing to a head injury sustained days earlier. The 6' 1" stuntman's cause of death was listed as blunt force trauma. Susan Bernecker filed a wrongful death suit on Tuesday (23 January) in Gwinnett County State against the show's network AMC and other parties, saying his death could have been prevented. She claims that AMC Networks Inc. "orchestrated and enforced a pattern of filming and producing 'The Walking Dead' cheaply and, ultimately, unsafely". AMC is also accused of pressuring production company Stalwart Films to work with unreasonably low budgets, which led to inadequate safety precautions. Susan, who is seeking a jury trial and asks for punitive and compensatory damages as well as attorney fees, hopes that taking a stand will force film and television companies to … [Read more...] about The Walking Dead: Mother of stuntman who fell 20ft onto concrete floor files wrongful death lawsuit
