Three men have been arrested after boxer Amir Khan was robbed at gunpoint and had a £72,000 watch stolen in East London in April. Khan was just a few steps ahead of his wife, Faryal, outside the Sahara Grill in Leyton when two men walked up to him and demanded he hand over his diamond-encrusted Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph. He was then helped by brave restaurant staff. Footage of the incident was released after being captured by CCTV . The Metropolitan Police have now announced three men are being questioned after being arrested on suspicion of robbery, with two also arrested on suspicion of having a gun with intent to cause fear of violence with another also held for possession of ammunition. A Timaru business has used fibreglass to make old “beaten up” pieces of tin look like new as repair work continues on the historic St George Coptic Church.
