Drivers may experience traffic delays across Grimsby today as a group of Brexit protesters stage a drive-slow event across the town. The peaceful protest, which is being escorted by Humberside Police, hopes to show the strength of feeling that local residents have about the Brexit process, and believe that the government need to do what people voted for and get Britain out of the European Union. Eight vehicles are taking part in the demonstration, which is the third to be held in North East Lincolnshire. They will be driving from Alexandra Retail Park on Corporation Road, to Great Coates along Cromwell Road and Yarborough Road, before heading onto the A180 to go to Barnetby Top and then back into Grimsby towards Lockhill roundabout, and finishing again at the starting point. They will be driving at 15mph in the town, with this increasing to 30mph once they reach the A180. An appeal has been launched to find a missing man from Grimsby who was last seen in the Weelsby Road area. Humberside Police are searching for 20-year-old Issac Gowen who has not been seen since 9.30am this morning after being spotted in the area of Weelsby Road. He has been described as a white male, who is 6ft 4, and of slim build. He has short blonde hair and was wearing light coloured tracksuit bottoms and a top. A Humberside Police spokesperson said: "Can you help us find missing person Isaac Gowen 20years, last seen at 9:30am today in the Weelsby Road area of Grimsby? Grimsby Town’s injury list continues to grow after they were dealt a double blow ahead of tomorrow’s League Two clash with Stevenage. The Mariners are already without Elliot Embleton, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, and Jordan Cook, who is set to be missing for another couple of weeks after picking up a groin problem. And as they look to pick up their first win in eight this weekend, they’ll be without at least another two players. Defender Ludvig Öhman looks likely to miss the remainder of the season after picking up a grade three hamstring tear during the 2-0 defeat at Oldham last weekend. Similarly, striker Ahkeem Rose has picked up a grade two hamstring tear, although it is hoped that the 20-year-old could make a return before the end of the season.
