Rory McIlroy says leading golf’s return in a charity match on Sunday will finally bring some joy to people amid the misery of coronavirus . The televised match, which takes place in Florida, will see the world No1 play with Dustin Johnson against Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff in a £3million skins game in aid of Covid-19 charities. World No.3 Justin Thomas has apologised after uttering a homophobic slur during the third round of the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Thomas was heard using the derogatory word towards himself after missing a par putt on the fourth hole at Kapalua, reports the Press Association.
