Michelle Branch has been arrested for domestic assault following the announcement that she and husband Patrick Carney are splitting. According to reports from TMZ, police were called to the couple’s home around 2am on Thursday for a domestic disturbance. Court documents seen by the publication state that Michelle admitted to slapping Patrick in the face ‘one to two times’. Patrick did not have any visible injuries and Michelle was taken into custody with her bail set at $1,000 (£824).
