GAME of Thrones showrunner David Benioff has revealed twisted Cersei murdered King Tommen’s cat, Ser Pounce. Tommen Baratheon jumped to his death at the end of season 6 and his beloved cat had presumably been left to wander around the Red Keep. However, Benioff has revealed that wasn't his fate, and after Tommen's psycho mum crowned herself queen, her first act from the Iron Thrown was to carry out Ser Pounce's assassination But the scene was too grisly to air. He told EW: "Cersei hated the name ‘Ser Pounce’ so much she could not allow him to survive. "So she came up with her most diabolical [execution]. The Game of Thrones prequel could be coming to TV sooner than fans expected. According to Screen Rant, the still untitled series is said to be going into production in Ireland in February 2019. The show’s working title is currently The Long Night. Jane Goldman created the series. She’s known for her work on Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and the Kingsman films. The Game of Thrones prequel, tentatively called The Long Night, will reportedly begin filming in Ireland in 2019.
