Queen Elizabeth allegedly has had enough of Meghan Markle using her royal title for her own good. National Enquirer, in its august 15 issue, claimed that Her Majesty took necessary steps to ensure that monarchy would survive. “Her Majesty believes Meghan and her publicity-obsessed antics pose a real threat to the monarchy. “As she faces her final days, Elizabeth detests this self-centred newcomer for tearing Harry from his family to start a new life together in America. “The truth is it’s the Hollywood life Meghan always dreamed of for herself and Harry is her meal ticket,” the source said. The insider further claimed: “She hates that the Duchess of Sussex betrayed her. Now, Meghan seems set to use her title for an ambitious career in politics – a total no-no for British royalty. “I’m told Her Majesty has run out of patience with the woman who keeps thumbing her nose at the royals. And she’s letting it be known behind palace doors,” the source said. … [Read more...] about Queen ‘runs out of patience’ over Meghan Markle misusing her title

Meghan Markle accused of having ‘no apparent talent’: report
Meghan Markle has been blasted as being ‘calculated’ and ‘driven by fame and wealth’ despite having “no talent.” This allegation has been put forward by Lady Colin Campbell, in her interview with GB News. There, she offered comparisons between the Duchess of Sussex and Rebekah Vardy. She was quoted saying, “We seem to have a whole slew of really rather tiresome, very opinionated women, who seem to have made their way in life through talents which are not immediately apparent, and they think they're the best thing since sliced bread. And they know everything.” She also accused the royal of possessing narcissistic tendencies and claimed, “She's very calculating and I think that if he had not been a Prince Henry of Wales, she wouldn't have given him two minutes, much less the length of time she intends to give him.” “Yes, of course, she was very committed to being self serving, but only self serve. Public service? Not a chance. This is a woman who, in my opinion, everything is … [Read more...] about Meghan Markle accused of having ‘no apparent talent’: report

Screen time more dangerous for children than activities in Swallows and Amazons, warn academics
Spending hours staring at screens is a more dangerous pastime than the perilous activities carried out by the children in Swallows and Amazons , academics have said. The author of the first ever full-length study of Arthur Ransome’s classic adventure novel claims too much time surfing the net is far more deadly than sailing at night without a life jacket, because it fails to teach children how to fend for themselves or take risks. Julian Lovelock, the former dean of arts and pro vice-chancellor of the University of Buckingham , where he lectured on Ransome, said children were spending increasing amounts of time using "gadgets and gizmos" and were not living in the real world. “Sailing at night without life-jackets, wrecking their dinghy through a foolhardy misjudgement, crossing the stormy North Sea in a small boat, confronting the urban Hullaballoos: today’s health and safety police would have had apoplexy," he said. "But it’s worth pondering whether the challenges … [Read more...] about Screen time more dangerous for children than activities in Swallows and Amazons, warn academics
