Danniella Westbrook showed off her toned body as she spent the day with her children. The former EastEnders star took to social media to document the family occasion with her rarely-seen kids, Jodie and Kai, as the group soaked up the sun. Sporting a red bikini set, Danniella snapped away whilst relaxing on a sun lounger with her dog Bobby in tow. The actress, 48, looked incredible in the post as she flaunted her toned physique in the garden. In one snap, Daniella posed alongside Jodie and Kai in a wide-brimmed hat. Captioning the family shot, she penned: "It’s been a hard road for my kids but I appreciate every moment I get with them. Thank you @kjfernandez23 @jodiebjenkins. Cost of living: Families choosing between food and children’s sport
By Nelli Bird Published 2 hours ago Share close Share page Copy link About sharing The cost of living crisis is forcing people to choose between doing sport or buying food, according to a new report. One rugby club said it was seeing children stop playing as parents cannot afford boots or petrol for travel. The Senedd's sport committee called for a "radical rethink" after finding living costs were preventing participation in disadvantaged areas. The Welsh government said it was committed to "promoting equal access to sport across the country". The committee's report said while the Welsh government had "well intentioned" commitments, there was not a "clear and defined approach" to increasing participation in these areas. Poverty and lifestyle challenges sport 'Poor children lose out on exercise' 'Work needed' to close school sports gap Since forming in … [Read more...] about Cost of living: Families choosing between food and children’s sport

Jenny Holt, Managing director for Customer Savings, and investments at Standard Life stated that even though Britons can gift as much money as they like to their loved ones, people need to be aware of the tax implications as it could reduce the full benefit of their gift. Inheritance tax in the UK is paid on the value of a person’s estate when they pass away, this includes things such as property, money, possessions and savings. Being friends with your ex is no bad thing – especially when children are involved
You may have seen this picture of Sienna Miller and her boyfriend, Oli Green embracing in the crowd at Wimbledon and you probably thought, “Ah yes, the love outing.” Centre Court is a tried and tested love outing photo opportunity (it’s only a year since Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson were smooching courtside), but look closer and you will see that this PDA is of an altogether more significant and ahead of the curve kind. Seated immediately behind the kissing couple are Miller’s ex, Tom Sturridge, and his new girlfriend Alexa Chung. (They also obliged with a bit of lip contact.) Not only is this no coincidence, it’s a show of post-divorce harmony – the exes recoupled up, sitting one in front of the other to show everyone just how comfortable they all are with the way things have turned out. And credit to them. On the chart of things you can do to look modern and well-adjusted, exes hanging out with their partners is top of the list this summer. Also at the weekend, Adele’s ex and … [Read more...] about Being friends with your ex is no bad thing – especially when children are involved
The Cambridge children’s new school – ‘respectable yet not one of the posh ones’
It’s off to prep school for Prince George this September but happily without a tuck box, teddy bear and tearful goodbye. If whispers are to be believed, the third in line to the throne, who turned nine this July, will become a day pupil at Lambrook School in Berkshire, along with his sister, Princess Charlotte, seven, and brother, Prince Louis, four. The school, in a white stucco house surrounded by parkland, is just a short drive from Adelaide Cottage, the Cambridges’ new residence near Windsor Castle – and according to current parents, offers a modern, cosy and nurturing take on the quintessential prep school experience. “There’s no comparing it to the hot house our daughter attended in London – there’s acres of space and no pushiness,” says one. “The lessons are fun and there’s a tight, all-inclusive community. I defy any child not to love it.” The Cambridge children, however, might not be feeling quite so enthusiastic about the move. Thomas’s Battersea , where the older … [Read more...] about The Cambridge children’s new school – ‘respectable yet not one of the posh ones’

Emma Raducanu suffers latest blow as she crashes out of Canadian Open
Briton blown away in straight sets by Italy's Giorgi US Open champion suffers second set collapse Raducanu to play in Cincinnati next ahead of Flushing Meadows title defence E mma Raducanu slumped to a straight sets defeat against reigning champion Camila Giorgi at the National Bank Open in Toronto, and admitted she needed to get better at coping with the pace of play at the top level. The first-round loss marked less than ideal preparations for world No 10 Raducanu, 19, as she looks towards her US Open title defence later this month. It was a disappointing early exit for Raducanu's debut in Toronto, the city she was born in before moving to the United Kingdom as a toddler. The one hour 49-minute 7-6(0), 6-2 loss followed a similar pattern to her quarterfinal defeat at last week's Citi Open to Liudmila Samsonova in Washington, DC, where she was hampered by blisters on her hands. There, after losing a tightly fought first-set tiebreak, Raducanu wilted against her … [Read more...] about Emma Raducanu suffers latest blow as she crashes out of Canadian Open
Sam Sanders Picks His Favorite Podcasts
Photo-Illustration: Vulture; Photo by Stephanie Noritz You might have heard that we here at Vulture recently welcomed a new member to the family. Into It — pronounced emphatically — is Vulture’s flagship podcast, an aural vessel for the site’s many madnesses and enthusiasms. It’s hosted by Sam Sanders, and speaking as someone who’s closely watched his arc from NPR reporter to NPR Politics podcast host to the anchor of his very own public-radio podcast–hybrid vehicle, it’s a real treat to now be sharing an HR system with the guy. To mark the occasion, I figured I’d hit up Sam to chat a little about what he’s listening to, how he listens, and, broadly speaking, his relationship to the culture writ large. Relatedly, I think I might make this listening Q&A concept a recurring feature. The only problem is the name. “What’s in Your Rotation?” “What’s Feed-ing You?” (Get it? No?) Whatever. I’ll figure it out later. Okay, let’s get to it. 1.5x Speed: It’s been my … [Read more...] about Sam Sanders Picks His Favorite Podcasts
