Finra report on cybersecurity practices

The UK has reported another 290 coronavirus deaths and 7,434 new cases, while 19.6 million people have now had their first vaccine dose. This compares to the 345 deaths and 8,523 cases recorded on Friday. Another 504,493 had their first dose of the COVID-19 yesterday, bringing the total to 19,682,048. The total number of people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for coronavrus in the UK now stands at 122,705. The UK government has set the target of offering a first coronavirus vaccine to all adults in the UK by the end of the July. THE father of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been buried in his home city. Jose Agostinho Becker, 57, was laid to rest in the same burial plot as his father Alicio in a private ceremony attended by around 20 friends, relatives and neighbours. His widow Magali and son Muriel, 34, the goalkeeper of Rio de Janeiro club Fluminense, were among the mourners. Heartbroken Alisson, 28, was unable to attend because of coronavirus restrictions . Dad-of-two Mr Becker was found dead at midnight on Wednesday by a lake on the family’s ranch near the town of Lavras do Sul in southern Brazil. An autopsy confirmed he had drowned and ruled out foul play, although a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy is continuing. Shoppers are paying up to 180 per cent more for vegan food than for the equivalent meat-based product, research has found. Four in five vegan goods cost more than their meat versions, according to a study commissioned by sports insurance brand Insure4Sport. It was noted that Marks & Spencer's £2.25 Plant Kitchen 'No Pork' sausage rolls were £1.45 more expensive than their 80p meat alternative - both of which weighed 120g. Meanwhile, Waitrose's £3.75 Vegan Chilli with Soya Mince and Rice, which weighs 400g, costs £1 more than its 450g meat counterpart. Many ingredients in the vegan products are more affordable, but the price can be driven up by development methods such as blending stages and heat processing. More than 850 cows that have spent two months at sea on a ship crossing the Mediterranean are facing slaughter, following a report from Spanish vets. The cattle have suffered "hellish" conditions, according to animal rights activists. The Karim Allah vessel originally left the Spanish port of Cartagena to deliver the cattle to Turkey but were refused entry due to fears over bluetongue. The insect-borne bovine virus causes lameness and haemorrhaging among cattle but does not affect humans. After being turned away from Turkey , owners failed to find a new buyer for the animals. Advertisement The ship was subsequently rejected by several more countries, even to replenish animal feed, leaving the animals to go several days with just water. American airstrikes in Syria show that Iran can expect consequences for supporting militia groups threatening US interests and personnel, Joe Biden has warned. "You can't act with impunity. Be careful," the US president said when asked what message he intended to send with the airstrikes early on Friday morning on Syria 's eastern border with Iraq. Satellite images show a group of buildings before the airstrike and the obliteration of most of them after. The Pentagon said the strikes by two Air Force F-15E aircraft using seven missiles destroyed nine buildings and heavily damaged two others in eastern Syria used by Iran-backed militias. They added that the strikes were not intended to eradicate the groups using them for attacks inside Iraq but to show the US will act firmly while trying to avoid a widespread regional escalation.
