On Tuesday, Square Enix launched its annual Easter Egg Hunt event, Hatching-tide, in Final Fantasy XIV . The event is a limited-time offering running from April 9 - April 22. During the event, players are tasked with completing three puzzler quests that will lead players to finding hidden eggs in the game. By completing quests, players can unlock a set of handy dandy Spriggan armor. The highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers expansion is almost ready to be released. With plenty of new content to dig through, a handful of new jobs and even a Nier: Automata themed dungeon, there's enough to keep even the most hardcore fans entertained. For those players either looking for a new MMO to spend all of their time with or hardcore FF veterans who've spent years in Eorzea, there's plenty to be excited about. Shadowbringers increases the level cap to 80, and adds a New Game+ option and nine new raids to keep veterans grinding away. A new report suggests there’ll be no new paid-for Call Of Duty next year, but there may be a new free-to-play game that’s not Warzone 2. Ever since Call Of Duty 2 in 2005 there has been a new mainline Call Of Duty game released every single year, but apparently that won’t be the case in 2023. It’s already been rumoured (via a leak that is widely believed to have come from Activision itself) that Call Of Duty 2023 is a new Black Ops game by Treyarch, with a near future setting similar to Battlefield 2042, but a Bloomberg report suggests the game has been delayed. That isn’t necessarily because of the Activision Blizzard acquisition though, as ending yearly releases is something that has been mooted before, with the final decision supposedly taken because of the poor reception for Call Of Duty: Vanguard. A new Final Fantasy XIV crossover event featuring beloved Final Fantasy XV hero Noctis has made its way to the game. Find out everything you need to know about the Nocturne for Heroes event, here. On Tuesday, Square Enix launched a new FFXIV crossover event, "A Nocturne for Heroes" featuring none other than the hero of FFXV, Noctis Lucis Caelum. The event, which runs through May 27 will see Noctis enter the world of Hydaelyn in his Regalia mount. There he will join the Warriors of Light in battle against magitek infantry, magitek armor, and even the Messenger, Garuda, from Eos.
