A glamping site near Leamington is set to appear on TV this week. Hilltop Hideaways, a luxury glamping site at Hilltop Farm on the Fosse Way in Hunningham, was selected to take part in Channel 4’s show Four in a Bed earlier this year. Lotte and Lil Ellis, cousins-in-law from the family farm, farm shop, café and glamping business, rose to the challenge, with a week of filming back in May.The show features four sets of hotel or B&B owners from around the country who take turns to try out each other’s accommodation and score their stay.As well as welcoming the programme guests for a stay in the Warwickshire countryside – in their luxury bell tents, shepherds’ huts and wooden cabins, they also travelled all over the UK sampling the competition – from a hotel in Tynemouth to a B&B in Blackpool.Their TV appearance can be seen every night this week at 5pm on Channel 4 – and on Thursday (October 11) it’s Hilltop’s turn to go under … [Read more...] about Glamping site near Leamington to appear on TV this week

A Doncaster chef will return to TV screens tomorrow night in a new series of BBC comedy All Round To Mrs Brown's. Catering consultant and chef to the stars Aly Mahmoud is reprising his role as Chef Aly in the new series of the BBC1 show All Round To Mrs Brown's which will begin its new series with an hour long episode tomorrow from 9.20pm.Filming on the second series has taken place over the last few weeks and the chef has been sharing photos from the studio filming on Twitter.Once again, he will be shown cooking for guests on the programme and stars on the first episode include EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, boxing legend Amir Khan, and queen of the outdoors Kate Humble. Britain's Got Talent viewers were left a little confused tonight as Ant McPartlin returned to screens this evening. Ant, 42, stepped down from his TV commitments after he was charged with drink driving following a three-car smash and is currently working on his addiction to booze. However Ant appeared on TV this evening alongside co-star Declan Donnelly for the first time in a month. This is because the BGT auditions were filmed back in January and Ant will continue to appear during the auditions. But for the live semi-finals and final, Dec will be hosting the show alone without Ant. Yet some viewers were a little confused and flocked to Twitter to ask why he was back on TV.
