Taylor Swift has denied a 2017 copyright infringement claim that stated she stole the lyrics of her 2014 hit song Shake It Off. The Gorgeous crooner, 32, filed the documents in federal court yesterday (August 8) and claimed she’d ‘never heard’ the song she is accused of plagiarizing. Swift was hit with plagiarism charges in 2017 by songwriters Sean Hall and Nathan Butler, who claim Swift cribbed her lyrics from their 2001 track, Playas Gon’ Play, performed by 3LW. In the excerpts of motion obtained by Billboard, the Folklore singer unequivocally rejected the accusation and wrote that “the lyrics to ‘Shake It Off’ were written entirely by me”, before providing context around how they came to be included in the song. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,  who resides in Montecito with their two children Archie and Lilibet, are apparently losing their popularity in the UK and United States as the people of the both countries respect the royal family, and they  are fed up with them. In a latest poll, Express.co.uk asked readers: “Has Meghan Markle had a positive impact on the Royal Family?” Overall, 13,022 people cast their votes with the overwhelming majority, 98 percent (12,732 people) answering “no”, Meghan hasn't had a positive impact on the Royal Family. A further two percent (224 people) said “yes” she has, while just 66 people said they did not know either way. The family of a man who died from a series of seizures after being arrested have accused medical staff of treating him like a ‘faker’. Raphael Gill, 29, had a total of six seizures and died in hospital in November 2019 after being detained for drug offences and speeding. Officers requested an ambulance ‘multiple times’ as he had the first three seizures in the back of their police car. When paramedics did arrive, Raphael, who had a history of seizures, was not medically assessed, official documents say. Once in the ambulance, he had a fourth but was only seen by doctors on the floor of A&E at Lewisham and Greenwich Hospital after his fifth. Before his sixth and final seizure, the father-of-two was recorded saying: ‘I’m going to die’ before taking his last breath. John Holland-Kaye said that a fake injury craze, popularised on social media websites, had led to passengers wrongly using wheelchair support in order to bypass security queues. “For passengers requiring wheelchair support, we have had more demand than we’ve had before the pandemic. Now why is that happening?
