Megan Barton Hanson has a new job as a sex columnist. Love Island launched her showbiz career in the reality TV world and now she's got a job writing as a sex correspondent for Vice. Her romance life has been thrown up in the air by the coronavirus pandemic in the third national lockdown. But she's already has been blocked from dating app Hinge because she said it thinks she's "a catfish". In a confessional mood, Megan admitted she's a "bit of a serial dater" when she talked about her dating habits. She said: "I'm a bit of a serial dater. There'll always be someone on the go, even if it's just flirty texting, but there's not much for single people to do right now. "We're still in lockdown and it would be great to have a Netflix partner to watch all these new shows with, plus I'm currently blocked from Hinge because it thinks I'm a catfish." Nicola Sturgeon vows to ‘get on with the job’ as she awaits Alex Salmond inquiry ruling
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has vowed to "get on with the job" after answering eight hours' of questions over her government's handling of harassment claims against her predecessor Alex Salmond. A day after her lengthy evidence session before a Scottish parliament committee, Ms Sturgeon said she would now "rest on that". Mr Salmond, who was first minister from 2007 until 2014, was awarded a pay-out of more than £500,000 by the Court of Session after it ruled in January 2019 that the Scottish government had acted unlawfully. He was acquitted of 13 charges in March 2020 following a criminal trial. Dick Sheppard dead: James Bond and Italian Job stuntman dies as family grieve
Dick Sheppard has died at the age of 90. The stuntman, who worked on the Italian Job and two James Bond films, died on March 1, his family confirmed. He appeared in 500 films and held 18 world records, and once boasted that he had wrecked 2,003 cars in his career. One of his most memorable stunts saw the-father-of-nine ride an ex-army motorbike through a 100 foot tunnel of fire, a record which four people died trying to beat before. His heartbroken family confirmed the sad news of his passing in an emotional statement posted to Facebook . They said: "Fondly known by many for his obsession with cars and motorbikes he was truly a larger than life character who caught the public’s attention with his daredevil stunts and world records. "His final wishes, however, were that we his family might grieve in private so we can reflect on his other roles as husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather." LOVE Island’s Laura Anderson broke down in tears and said she’d lost jobs as a result of the backlash she’d received from travelling to Dubai. With thousands of pubs closed for good and many more on the brink due to the pandemic the industry faces a bleak future unless Rishi Sunak steps in with a rescue plan, landlords warn. And the Daily Mirror is demanding the Chancellor uses today's Budget to deliver a lifeline to the nation’s much-loved locals. Mr Sunak is expected to announce a range of measures he claims will help boozers - including extending VAT cuts until the summer. But landlords warn they do not go far enough and will not allow pubs to build up profits lost after months of closures, putting jobs and livelihoods at risk.
