Pop festival Mighty Hoopla has released a statement regarding Macy Gray ’s ‘insensitive and transphobic’ comments’, saying the event ‘will always stand with our trans family’. On Monday evening, Gray appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where she made highly contentious remarks about transgender women . Bette Midler has sparked a backlash after saying cisgender women are being deprived of their basic rights, while JK Rowling has appeared to back "transphobic" comments by singer Macy Gray. Kate Middleton has firmly cemented British designer label Alessandra Rich as a new fashion favorite by wearing her fourth design of the year to Wimbledon on Tuesday. Kate, a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club that hosts the Wimbledon Championship in London each year, attended the quarter finals men's singles matches accompanied by her husband Prince William . The pair watched as defending Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic played against Italian professional Jannik Sinner on the famous center court. For the occasion, Kate wore Alessandra Rich's pleated midi dress design in a blue with a white polka dot print. Marjorie Taylor Greene has suggested—without evidence—a link between shootings and medication, following mass shooting in Highland Park, Chicago, on July 4. Representative Greene, the Republican from Georgia, on Monday tweeted an FBI wanted poster for Robert E. Crimo III , the 22-year-old named a "person of interest" over the shootings at a Fourth of July parade that left at least six dead and 30 injured. Crimo was arrested later that day. "Is this going to be another story where some crazy manifesto will be found? Greene wrote. "Are we going to be told every 'weapon of war' and amount of ammo he bought yet the public won't be told his prescription drug history or recreational drug history." Anti- Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Twitter -users appear to have mistakenly trolled mental health hospitals located in the area that gives the couple their royal titles, Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Tweets targeted Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, an organisational unit within Britain's National Health Service in the county of Sussex. It has nothing to do with the couple's titles. Some tweets targeted a post about the organization's partnership with mental health texting service Shout, which is backed by Prince William and Kate Middleton . The negative comments tagged Shout's official Twitter account as well as the Sussex Partnership one. One comment on July 4 read: "Anything to do with them two lying scabs from America then it gets blocked now. Corruption attached to all Meghan Markle touches."
